Established under the visionary leadership and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, Awqaf Abu Dhabi (The Endowment and Minors’ Fund Authority) is the apex entity mandated with the management of Abu Dhabi’s endowments to deliver long-term positive social and economic impact for current and future generations.

 

Operating under the Office of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Awqaf Abu Dhabi regulates, preserves and develops endowed assets and ensures distribution of profits, creating sustainable value.

Beneficiary Programs

We develop programs aimed at empowering the beneficiaries of the Waqf, which could include educational scholarships, healthcare services, social welfare initiatives, etc.

Endowment Management

Abu Dhabi is responsible for managing all endowment related processes, and also drives financial investments and projects inside or outside the UAE following global best practices in fund management

Guardianship of Minors, Interdicted and Others

Awqaf Abu Dhabi manages the financial guardianship and development of the wealth of minors, interdicted and the likes, as entrusted by the competent Court. The responsibility of the authority is to manage the funds while promoting financial and social inclusion

Consultation Services

Awqaf Abu Dhabi offers expert advice on setting up new Waqf endowments, including legal and financial structuring in compliance with Islamic law
