Established under the visionary leadership and guidance of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Awqaf Abu Dhabi (The Endowment and Minors’ Fund Authority) is the apex entity mandated with the management of Abu Dhabi’s endowments to deliver long-term positive social and economic impact for current and future generations.
Operating under the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Awqaf Abu Dhabi regulates, preserves and develops endowed assets and ensures distribution of profits, creating sustainable value.
In addition to regulating and managing the work of Endowment Administrators, Awqaf Abu Dhabi is responsible for providing the necessary permits for Endowment institutions in Abu Dhabi, and hosting events, such as conferences and seminars, related to the management of the Endowments and Funds of Minors, Interdicted and Others.

His Excellency Abdul Hamid Mohammed Saeed
Chairman
His Excellency Abdulhamid Mohammed Saeed serves as the Chairman of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, possessing a keen vision and strong passion for charitable work, along with exceptional financial and investment expertise. His appointment to this position by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, underscores his extensive experience in financial management.
His Excellency is considered one of the foremost financial experts in the United Arab Emirates, having held several key positions, including Governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, CEO of the First Abu Dhabi Bank Group, and CEO, General Manager, and Board Member of First Abu Dhabi Bank.
His Excellency holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Arizona, USA.

His Excellency Fahad Abdulqader Al Qassim is one of the foremost experts in strategic investment and financial planning in the Middle East. His Focus is on enhancing international relations and supporting the transformative growth of Abu Dhabi. His strategic vision and commitment to building a performance-based culture have played an active role in establishing a knowledge-based economic system.
His Excellency serves as the Director General of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, a position through which he works to promote the culture of endowment and accelerate financial and social inclusion.
